MODUS GALAXIS is a thrilling new adult science fiction novel which takes place one-hundred years in the future. We have achieved peace on Earth during the period known as the Reunification, though peace comes at a price. Earth has been welcomed into the Galactic Ministry, a cosmic governing body that indoctrinates facilitators to occupy distressed planets and execute Ministry commands.

Kismet, 22, has desired to serve in the Ministry since childhood. Our story explores her first mission to the Planet of Bounty, a planet envied by the gods, overflowing with plump fruits and vegetables, gravid with abundance. A bounty which the ruler, Synew, believes has been poisoned and a Ministry whose actions he doesn’t trust. This key mission will force Kismet to confront themes of power and corruption while embarking on a hero's journey.

MODUS GALAXIS is the first book of a planned trilogy. It is complete at over 80,000-words. Book one explores themes of authoritarian rule, a false utopia, and the bonds of friendship tested by power and political intrigue. A world in which transhumanism is the norm and humanity is a mere speck competing in an infinite universe. The writing is endearing, witty and provocative.

MODUS GALAXIS falls within the genre of new adult and near-future cozy sci-fi. The storyline would appeal to readers of “The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet” both share themes of found family, diverse cast of alien, human, hybrids and exciting adventures.
